Visit the historic Bagha Mosque at 770 taka

Sultan Nasiruddin Nasrat Shah established the mosque in 1523.

History

The mosque was built in 1523-24 (930H), the son of the founder of the Hussein Shahi clan, Sultan Nasrat Shah, son of Alauddin Shah. Later, the mosque was renovated and the mosque dome was demolished when the mosque was rebuilt in a new mosque in 1897.

The Bagha Mosque is built with lime and stool. Inside the mosque and on the outer wall there are beautiful mahras and pillars. The Dighi is situated on 52 bighas of land adjacent to the Shahi Mosque. The coconut tree is enclosed around this lake. During the winter of the year, many guests in this lighthouse become the face of many birds in the field of birds. At present, four paved areas of the lake have been constructed. Apart from this, there is a shrine of Johar Khaki Pir with this mosque. His grave is on the north side of the main shrine. Apart from this, the Mahal pond was discovered from the ground floor of the mosque. In 1997, on the western side of the shrine, excavation found a paved mound pond of 30 feet by 20 feet. This pond was associated with the Andamahala with a tunnel. Three steps down the stairs have come down. There are lots of terracotta plaques inside and outside the mosque.
