The public administration ministry released the list on Monday. There will be 22 days leave for the general and executive holidays next year. It has been 10 days between Friday and Saturday.
The list was approved in the cabinet meeting on November 24.
National Day and the important religious day of different communities will have 14 days of normal holidays.
Six weekly holidays (Friday and Saturday) were read in the general holidays. Besides, there are six days in the executive order of the Bengali New Year and various important religious days. Four Weekly Holidays have been observed on this holiday.
The government employees will have three days of optional leave on the occasion of religious work next year.
In order to celebrate Vaisabi, the main social festival of the small ethnic group of Chittagong Hill Tracts, there has been an optional holiday for two days (29 Chaitra and 2 Baishakh) for the government officials and employees there. There is a weekend holiday.
It has been said in the order that those offices and vacancies are regulated by their own laws or those offices, organizations, and organizations which have declared the employment of the government as mandatory, according to their own rules, the public will declare the holiday.
